Exiting Journey Through Traditional Cuisine

Samoan Oka

Get a ‘native cuisine’… Samoa has many great dishes, most of them are made with lots of love when preparing for the Sunday meal called UMU. Today we are showing the Samoan OKA. This is both healthy and delicious. In Samoa, the OKA is usually made by every family for the Sunday feast. It is made in the following way:

  • Cut the raw tuna in small thumbnail size pieces and put in a bowl.
  • Cut cucumber, tomatoes, and onion into very fine pieces and add it to the bowl.
  • Add fresh coconut cream (or from can) sauce together with some lemon juice.
  • Add salt and pepper and some chili sauce if you like it hot.

Mix it all together and serve in small cups or bowls.
Leave it in the fridge for some time if you prefer it cold.

Enjoy this great light and healthy meal.

Oh, we forgot to tell you that there is one ingredient missing in the recipe…

To get the right taste and perfect mix you must be in Samoa. It’s time to make that final decision and book the tickets.

  1. Thanks for the new things you have discovered in your blog post. One thing I’d prefer to touch upon is that FSBO human relationships are built over time. By presenting yourself to the owners the first few days their FSBO can be announced, ahead of masses get started calling on Mon, you generate a good network. By giving them tools, educational components, free accounts, and forms, you become a great ally. By subtracting a personal curiosity about them along with their circumstance, you create a solid relationship that, in many cases, pays off as soon as the owners decide to go with a real estate agent they know along with trust – preferably you actually.
